“I had several teeth extracted and numerous crowns done over a series of visits. It was painless and easy but at times tedious. Dr. Pam was caring to the point that she called me several times at home to see how I was doing. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of dental care.” -Barbara

“During my recent visit to see Dr. Cain for my teeth cleaning I approached her about some work I have wanted to get done for some time. I had a front tooth that had a crown that was approximately 30 years old and it stood out compared to the rest of my nearly 50 year teeth. I wanted a new smaller crown in it’s place that also a bit darker in color to match my other teeth.
The other front tooth was missing a corner and had a small crack. I wanted that one replaced as well. The crack in the upper caused a crack in the tooth directly under which also need to be replaced.
Doctor Cain suggested I also replace one tooth directly to the right of the front as it was pushing into the front tooth and would not reveal a straight smile. Total work done was 3 upper front teeth replaced and 1 lower tooth replaced.
The first visit I had pictures taken of the before look and also got some prep work done. The lower tooth was replaced. The next visit removed the old crown and ground down the other 2 teeth in preparation of the new crowns. I was fitted with one cap to cover all three teeth until the new ones were made.
The final visit gave me the smile I have today. It was well worth the time and effort.”-David

Case Description:
“As a five year old boy I had a routine visit to the dentist. I was told I needed to open my mouth wider. Feeling I was not opening wide enough, the frustrated dentist slapped me. This, for obvious reasons, instilled a great fear of dentists in me.
The following years proved difficult for me. A dentist visit was sheer torture. I went only because I was forced to. Once I was old enough to make these types decisions on my own, I foolishly chose not to seek dental treatment. This, as you can imagine, lead to problems. What do they say about hindsight being 20-20? Finally, and while in my 20′s, I visited a dentist that made me feel comfortable. He took the time to visit with me and give a detailed explanation of the procedure he was about to perform. Although I would still feel apprehensive, a dentist visit was not something I detested.
Six years ago I moved to Crossville from Florida. I dreaded having to find a new dentist. Friends recommended Dr. Pamela Cain. On my initial visit, and upon meeting Dr. Cain, I nervously joked about my “fear” of the dentist. She took the time to find out what this fear was, and, what she could do to lessen it. I could tell that she genuinely cared and truly wanted to make me feel comfortable. And that she did. In fact, everyone in the office has been caring and kind. I’m not going to tell you that I, “can’t wait” to go to the dentist, but it’s not something I make excuses to get out of. I’m glad my friends made this recommendation.” -Jim
